Deborah Circle - United Methodist Women

Meetings, the fourth Wednesday of each month

Join us the 4th Wednesday of every month; except Nov and Dec, rescheduled due to Holidays
We meet in the Carriage House or meet at church and carpool to a member’s house. We are caring, faithful women of all ages and life experiences who come together once a month to listen to a speaker and share refreshments and fellowship. Monthly speaker topics focus on the needs and interests of women and include themes around health, inspiration, community and mission. We serve the greater community in a number of ways, including knitting/crocheting hats for the homeless and lap robes for Wicke Senior Center in Shelton, preparing health and school kits for those in need and contributing to youth mission trips and United Methodist Women. For more information, contact Ronda Lanzi.

Next meeting: Wednesday, February 27th, 9:30 am in the Carriage House

Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study

Thursday at, 9:45 – 11:30 am in the Carriage House.

Come join us while we study God’s word, discuss God’s truth and encourage and support one another on the journey. This fall we will be delving into the book of Hebrews. Using Lisa Thompson's book “Hebrews: The Faithful Woman” as our guide, we will explore verse after verse, applying God’s message to our own lives. Beginning September 6th, we meet Thursday mornings in the Carriage House from 9:45-11:30 a.m. We follow the school calendar and do not meet during school vacations or weather cancellations. Contact Debbie Ahle with any questions.

Spirit Stitchers

Spirit Stitchers meets the fourth Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in the Carriage House. Do you enjoy expressing your creativity through needle work, quilting or painting? Join a diverse group of creative women who receive joy from pursuing their craft passions while in fellowship with others. Some work on projects to support mission efforts, such as prayer shawls, blankets for the homeless or paraments for the sanctuary. Others come hoping for some time to finish that last portion of a cherished, personal project and know that it will help to have a group of enthusiastic, supportive friends to cheer them on. We look forward to seeing your most current project.

 Worship Hours

8:00 am Communion in the Chapel
9:00 am  Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary
10:30 am Contemporary Worship in the Carriage House
